Your tasks

You are mainly taking care of the European branches of ROHM´s automotive accounts and are responsible for the design-in in their on-site development departments as well as for the implementation of product releases. 

These include in detail:

• Maintain and grow business in a well established customer network by driving new design-ins through relationships on different customer levels from R&D to management
• Responsibility for sales budget planning and achievement as well as design-in targets 
• Prepare and perform annual pricing negotiations
• Identify and materialize new business opportunities in upcoming business areas and applications 
• Assist customer during design-in developments with support from product managers and field application engineers 
• Present ROHM value proposition against competitors 
• Provide marketing department and product managers with consolidated customer requirements 
• Define new products and product enhancements, to pave the road for continuous future growth

Your profile

• Completed technical or scientific studies (Bachelor or Master) or comparable degree
• Good understanding of electronic components and basic knowledge of electronic circuits
• Very good command of written and spoken English and/or German
• Experience in the automotive market, in technical sales of semiconductors or in hardware development is an advantage
